Sam and his friends in Bartlesville started a tradition called "meatfest"... Need I say more?! A few times a year, usually the Thursday before General Conference, they would head to Tulsa to Gaucho's, which is one of those Brazilian restaurants where they bring the steak and meats around on skewers and if your card is green they serve you, and continue to do so until you flip it to red. They would weigh before going in, and weigh again afterwards. Whoever gained the most (ate the most) was the proud owner of a buffalo statue. Well, until this month, that buffalo has been at my house!! Thanks Brendon for taking it off our hands!
In Sam's honor, they went one more time before we moved. They all went down together in the Vacmobile, which is a bus turned smooth ride, that some of our friends own. Now that the big competition is out of the way, I wonder who will be the reigning champ! :-)

That is so funny...and something I could see my husband and his friends doing.
We missed you guys at the beach! It seemed like a lot of people were missing, even though there were still a bunch of people there. Kimmy came and brought her girls, she lives in TX. You should look her up when you get there. Greg's nephew just got his mission call last night to Houston. You'll have to watch out for him...same last name as us, Harr.
I am not sure if anyone is doing anything for the holidays. You guys are always welcome to come out and visit us :)
I think I could win that contest.
