Happy Birthday Shaye!

Shaye turned 6 on July 9th. Her birthday was on a Wednesday, so we just took her out to eat and opened family presents at home. She had a party on Friday at the Y. The kids went swimming, played in the game room, and had cake and ice cream. She did a High School Musical party this year, and got lots of great gifts. Thanks to everyone!

Blessing Day

Happy 4th!

It was a great day for Fourth of July! Sam grilled and everybody played in the water outside. Later in the evening, the family (that's Sam's brother in the picture) all went to a firework show that some of our friends here in town put on. Unfortunately, I didn't get to join in much since I was sick with mastitis for the second time. Sam said Jaxson covered his ears and eyes through the whole show because he thought it was too loud!

Water Fun

We have a water park about 40 minutes from our house. The kids went earlier this summer when my parents were here, and this time I got to go! It is so fun, I wish it were a little closer so we could go more often. There is tons of stuff the kids can do, a lazy river, and a few big pools and slides also.

Shaye was so excited to be able to do the lilly pads. She did a great job, making it across the first time.
