Off Shore in the Gulf

On August 15, Sam, his dad, and Jaxson went on the off shore fishing trip they had been planning. They went 15 miles off shore and fished around an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. Even though they had to get up exceptionally early, Jaxson loved in every minute of it. Look at my little stud...

Every time Jaxson threw his pole in, he would hook something. He caught the most of anyone on the boat. He caught 10 king fish (which is the limit), a ling, and he even caught a hammer head shark on his second cast, which of course they threw back.

My boys love to go fishing with dad too! Jaxson looks so happy and has a little twinkle in his eye. It looks like you guys have a had a fun and busy summer too! To answer your question, no Ty is not autistic. They have 2 kids in each special needs class that are there to help the teacher and be an "example" of how to behave appropriately in class. I was excited for this because he misses the deadline for kindergarten by 5 days and is so ready for school. They still learn things like sight words, writing their letters, and things like that, but it isn't actual kindergarten for him. Hopefully that makes sense:) I hope you and your family don't get hit by the hurricane this weekend! Have a fun labor day!
