Opening Day

Saturday was opening day for baseball. Jaxson had his first game. At his age, it is coach's pitch. At first he was nervous, he thought he was going to be able to hit off a tee, but it didn't take him long to get over that fear. He is a great hitter! He got to bat twice, and both times whacked the first pitch past third base. He also played third base in the field. Several balls came his way, and he never let one get past him. We were so proud of him, he did great!

Since it was opening day, they also had a few fun things for the kids to do. After the game, they all got to play in the bounce houses for a little while. Then it was off to dinner with Granpma and Grandpa, and Poppa who had come to see the first game.

He is a cute kid and looks so excited to be playing ball. It is strange to see a different world in your pictures. Our weather is warm (40's, which is warm for us) but there is still lot's of snow to melt away. At least we can see our neighborhood road...no more ice :)

OK so I obviously haven't seen your blog in a while. I didn't know you went to Hawaii! How fun! I'm so jealous! Your trip to Bartlesville looked like a lot of fun too.
Oh and Jaxson has really cute hair, I wish Colton's hair would do that, but it just keeps getting bigger the longer it gets.
