We have been keeping busy this summer. For everyone's sanity, we leave the house in the morning after getting chores done and head to do something fun. Usually its swimming.... we have done a lot of swimming! But we have also been to the library, taken bike rides with friends, gone to bounce house areas, and one day we went to pick berries at a berry farm. The kids really loved this. Shaye still talks about how she would like to go back.
And apparently the berries were yummy!
After we had picked berries, we had lunch, and then played in a fountain in the center of a shopping center. It helped to beat the heat.
Paige has loved swimming this summer. She heads straight for the pool and will go right in. If you try to keep her out for a little while, she whines and fusses till she can run back in in!
Our good friends from Bartlesville, the Bensons, came to visit us too. It was so great to have them here! We just visited, went swimming, ate good Mexican food, and hung out. Sydnee LOVED having Ellie here for a few days. They had so much fun together. These girls are the same age, and they were so cute.
