Where's the Toothfairy!

The day has finally arrived! Shaye has been hoping to lose a tooth since kindergarten, so she was thrilled when she finally had one come loose a few months ago. Every day she was ready to pull it, and I had to tell her it wasn't loose enough yet! Well, I was gone on Tuesday evening and Sam tied floss around it and gave it a pull. I know... ouch! But Shaye was okay with it. It was almost out, so Sam grabbed his pliers and finished the job! Shaye slept with her tooth under her pillow, and awoke to a dollar bill.

She finally lost it huh? I bet she was so excited. She was so adorable talking about school when I was there. She's grown up so much!

It's funny how losing a tooth makes you look so much older! That's exciting!

I'm so glad you only gave her a dollar. I keep hearing about moms who leave 5 dollars under there and I just think that's nuts!!!

Kids get excited over the simplest things--isn't it great?! Congrats on the lost tooth, Shaye!
(Cami just lost one on Saturday, and she told Ben that she wanted the tooth fairy to pay her $10 for it! lol I told her good luck with that one!)
