Recap - Sydnee turns 5!

Sydnee had her party at Monkey Joes for her 5th birthday.  It's an inflatable playground, and they had tons of fun.  The kids jumped, had pizza and cake and enjoyed celebrating with Sydnee.  Sydnee was been in preschool 2 days a week and learned a lot from her teacher, Ms. Melissa, which she loved.  She made good friends this year, and is still a little fish - always in the pool!

Recap - Paige's 3rd Birthday

My sweet baby turned 3 in 2013.  We had a girly pink party at our house with lots of her little friends.  Paige is still a mommy's girl.  She is super cuddly and loves to lay by me and has to have an arm or something draped over me.  :)  She is a happy girl who loves following her big siblings around and doing what they do!

Recap - Cruise 2013

We also took our annual Spring trip.  This time it was only 4 of us who could make it, us and Lance and Esther Boyer, but we had a great time none the less.  We were originally scheduled to cruise out of Galveston like usual, but the Carnival ship we had been booked on was stranded at sea 2 weeks before we left and needed major maintenance.  Awesome.  So we ended up booking a cruise out of Miami, which was even better because we got to spend 2 days in Miami before the cruise and I had never been there.  We stayed right on the beach and spent the days outside taking a morning jog, laying on the beach, and shopping around the strip.  At night we had dinner, caught a cool dance show, and checked out a few swanky places.

Then we took off on our Carnival cruise.  It went to Nassau Bahamas, another place I had never been.  The beach was gorgeous of course.  The ship was full of young crazy college kids, but it made for a lot of entertainment to watch and a fun time while on board.

Recap - Spring Break 2013

We took our annual Spring Break camping trip for a couple of days in 2013.  I'm so glad our friends, the Richards, had this tradition.  It was always a lot of fun, even though preparing for camping is a ton of work.

Sam and Mark Peterson grillin up dinner.

Noah and Isaac Peterson with Jax and Syd.

These cute girls had their own tent.  Katy Quinlan, Shaye, and Brooklyn.

Paige always calls Mark Mr. Peters!  She's so cute.

2013 Recap

When we got to the end of 2013 I was very disappointed I didn't have a blog book to print out.  This is the only scrap booking I've been able to do since having all 4 kids and life becoming too busy to keep up.  We love our blog books.  They will be loved even more as time goes on.  So missing 2013 makes me very sad.  There were a handful of very important events, so I'm going to include those here.  It is a New Years resolution of mine to get back to my blog so we'll have a year's worth of memories to save. So, posts may be short, and I may not have time to write much, but I am at least going to get some pictures in here and important things jotted down.

In February 2013 Jaxson turned 8.  He was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on February 10th.  He was baptized in the Katy Texas Stake Center.  Nicole and Grandpa gave talks and Sam baptized him.  Emmy and Poppa gave the prayers and all our family was there which was awesome.  Lots of our friends came to support Jaxson and it was a very nice evening. We are so proud of his decision and his love of the gospel.  Jaxson enjoys reading the scriptures and reminds us that we need to meet and read them together.  He loves to hear the scripture stories and always tries to choose the right.
